Raised between Italy and New York, Lucia has performed across stage, film, print, and television. Notable credits include Sidney Lumet's "100 Centre Street" (A&E), "Days of Our Lives" (NBC), and "Passions" (NBC). Her film work features ADR in Italian for George Miller's "Happy Feet 2," and roles in Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck's "The Tourist" (Columbia Pictures), Tony Gilroy's "Duplicity" (Warner Bros), Doug Liman's "Jumper" (Fox), as well as leading parts in independent films such as "If I Tell You I Have to Kill You," "Roscoe's House of Chicken n Waffles," "Turf," "Coppola's Box," "Günese Yolculuk" (aka "Journey To The Sun," Turkey), "Flushed," and "Manhattan by Numbers."
On the New York stage, Lucia has portrayed Inès Serrano in "No Exit," Ismenia & Stratyllis in "Lysistrata," Serafina Delle Rose in "The Rose Tattoo," and Lady Macbeth in "Macbeth." In Los Angeles, she has performed, written, and produced several one-woman shows including portrayals of Tina Modotti and Frida Kahlo in "Artists and Revolutionaries," as well as "Anger Mis-Management," "Love & Secrecy Unveiled," and "Wonder Woman in Therapy." She toured Mexican cities with the theater ensemble Mexicali a Secas in the Spanish-language play "Deseo." Lucia also appeared in "Return Engagement," a site-specific piece commissioned by the Los Angeles MTA that depicted union organizing in the 1930s and '40s.
Her one-woman play "Tina Modotti: Comrade in Arms" has been presented in New York, Los Angeles, and Edinburgh, with an adaptation from stage to screen. As a model and muse, Lucia has worked with visual artists and photographers, notably posing alongside supermodel Gisele Bündchen for Steven Meisel in a Dolce & Gabbana print campaign. Most recently, she portrayed the legendary Italian actress Anna Magnani in Franco D'Alessandro's stage production "Roman Nights," which explores the unique friendship between Magnani and American playwright Tennessee Williams.
