Fluent in French, Japanese, and English, with basic knowledge of Chinese and German.
Born in southwestern France in December 1979.
Began amateur theatre in junior high school, continuing through high school (Bordeaux English International High School, Lycée François Magendie, with participation in the 1996 European High School Theatre Festival in English in the Netherlands) and university.
Passionate about Japan from childhood, began studying Japanese at Bordeaux University (France) and moved to Japan in 2000 to further language studies. While at university, worked as a model for Japanese magazines such as VOCE and Tokyo 1 Shūkan, as well as pamphlets and commercial posters.
In early 2001, appeared on the TV show "24 Nin no Katoh Ai," marking the start of a career on Japanese television. Subsequently featured in TV dramas including "Ashita ga Arusa," "Yan Papa," and "Home & Away." From 2002, took on main and guest roles in the theatre play "TokuDane yarou! Ee Team," prime-time TV dramas like "Keitai Keiji Zenigata" and "Densetsu no Madame" (starring Kaori Momoi), and TV commercials such as "Yamasaki Haru no Pan Matsuri," "Yanmar," and "NISSAN Amenio."
Gained experience on the film set of "Wasabi" (2001, Luc Besson production) as a crew member, and in 2002 participated as an actor and production coordinator in the Japanese production "Spy Sorge," which guided his career toward film. Acted in internationally released movies including "Shimotsuma Monogatari" ("Kamikaze Girls"), "Odoru Daisousasen 2" ("Bayside Shakedown 2"), and "Out Of This World."
Also works as a lyricist for various TV programs and commercial songs, mainly collaborating with renowned singer Akino Arai. In 2004, began a career as a radio DJ on Tokyo’s major station J-Wave, and from 2006 served as a reporter for NHK World’s globally broadcast program "Weekend Japanology," as well as a movie commentator for Chiba TV’s show "Kinyou Tabloid.
