Tim Haldeman embodies the essence of a "Hollywood Kid," having grown up immersed in the entertainment industry in North Hollywood, California. His father worked as a production manager for film and TV, while his aunt served as head script supervisor at 20th Century Fox Studios for 39 years. Tim was the first in his family to pursue a career in front of the camera. After graduating from UCLA, he has been active in all facets of acting and performance. A Screen Actors Guild member for over 35 years, Tim has appeared in more than 130 television shows and films, as well as over 150 commercials. An avid golfer, one of his favorite roles was portraying a golfer from the past in the first Buick commercial featuring Tiger Woods. He is also recognizable as the "Good to Go" dad in Taco Bell ads.
Throughout his career, Tim has appeared on numerous TV shows including Murphy Brown, The Golden Girls, Family Ties, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, 90210, Empty Nest, and MacGyver. He played 'Elliot Blair,' the wealthy industrialist who dies in a helicopter crash in Universal's Dante's Peak. Tim held recurring roles as Officer Barker on The Drew Carey Show, Mr. Kraft on 3rd Rock From The Sun, and appeared on the NBC soap Passions and Fox's Skin. He guest-starred on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, ER, and Cold Case, and co-starred in episodes of Malcolm in the Middle, The West Wing, Scrubs, House, and TNT's Heartland. He also appeared as a weary dentist in a commercial for PepsiMax. Recently, Tim co-starred on Without A Trace and Eleventh Hour. In the upcoming season, he will be seen as a flustered dad in NBC's new cop drama Southland. Additionally, Tim is writing, producing, and directing an internet series called Mommie Matters for his wife Wendy’s baby business, The Pump Station & Nurtury, available at www.pumpstation.com, where he offers helpful advice for new parents.
Over the past decade, Tim has focused on stand-up comedy, performing nationwide in various venues. He has served as Host/MC or featured performer at more than 25 charity golf tournaments, including The Coastal Classic in Wilmington, NC, the Children's Charity Classic in Lexington, KY, the Mercy Celebrity Classic in Fort Smith, AR, and the Inner City Games Classic in San Diego. Tim has also performed at comedy clubs such as the Coach House in Carlsbad, CA; Jack Didley's in Kennewick, WA; Pechanga Comedy Club at Pechanga Casino Resort in Temecula, CA; The Comedy Club at The River Palms Casino Resort in Laughlin, NV; and The Comedy Club at Palace Station in Las Vegas. He is a recurring Host/MC and featured act at the acclaimed, long-running "Comedy On The Coast" concerts held at Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, OR.
