Kelly Park is an award-winning television director, writer, and producer known for her actor-first leadership, sharp comedic instincts, and ability to bring heart, humor, and authenticity to every story she tells. A Philadelphia native, Kelly’s work spans both comedy and drama, making her one of the industry’s most versatile directors.
Before entering entertainment, Kelly built a successful career in technology and advertising as a marketer and project manager. Encouraged by her actress mother to follow her "funny bone," she left corporate America and moved to Los Angeles to study at Second City and The Groundlings. While performing opened new doors, Kelly soon discovered her greatest passion wasn’t being in front of the camera, it was helping others shine.
She became one of television’s most sought-after acting coaches, working with young performers on numerous series for Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, Netflix, and Amazon. Her deep understanding of performance naturally evolved into directing, where her ability to communicate with actors quickly became her signature.
Kelly made her episodic directing debut on Netflix’s Alexa & Katie, directing multiple episodes, including the series finale. Since then, she has directed episodes of The Neighborhood, The Upshaws, Family Reunion, Night Court, Frasier, Grace & Frankie, The Game, and Station 19. She has also directed pilots for Netflix, ABC, and NBC, demonstrating her versatility across genres and formats.
In addition to directing, Kelly is a writer and producer developing original television and film projects with her husband and producing partner. Together, they have sold projects to CBS and NBC and continue to create stories that celebrate humor, humanity, and connection. Whether directing an ensemble comedy, a character-driven drama, or developing original content, Kelly is driven by a simple belief: the best stories emerge when artists feel seen, supported, and empowered to do their most fearless work.
