Otaviano Costa is widely recognized for his television career as both an actor and presenter. He is also one of the prominent Brazilian artists who successfully transitioned from TV to becoming a digital influencer, reaching new audiences through online platforms.
Beginning his career in 1990, Otaviano has worked across radio, television, film, soap operas, and streaming services. He has appeared on channels such as MTV Brazil, SBT, Band, Rede Record, and Rede Globo. At Globo, he not only hosted the program "Vídeo Show" but also participated in shows like "Amor & Sexo" and "Escolinha do Professor Raimundo," as well as acting in various soap operas.
In 2024, Otaviano remains active across multiple media. Later this year, his first feature film, "Vidente por Acidente," produced by Conspiração Filmes for Disney, will premiere in theaters. Four years after its launch, Otaviano continues hosting his show Otalab on UOL, where he interviews personalities in an engaging and humorous style. Together with his wife, actress Flávia Alessandra, he co-hosts the reality show "Ilha da Tentação" (Temptation Island Brazil), a Prime Video production that aims to captivate viewers.
Regarded as one of Brazil’s leading artists, Otaviano connects with all generations while maintaining a strong presence online through his social media channels. Embracing his entrepreneurial spirit, in early 2021 he and Flávia Alessandra founded "Agência Family," an agency that exclusively manages their careers, images, and business ventures. They also launched "Utreino," an innovative training and wellness platform designed for a broad audience. The platform offers workouts and UTalks, providing insights on health, beauty, nutrition, fashion, and more through expert-led discussions. Additionally, Otaviano is a partner in Royal Face, one of Brazil’s largest facial harmonization clinics.
