PJ Bloom is a music supervisor, executive, and producer whose work has garnered Grammy and Emmy recognition, along with two Guild of Music Supervisors Awards from 11 nominations. Throughout his career in major label leadership, independent entrepreneurship, and top-tier music supervision, he has significantly influenced the sound of modern television, film, and media.
With over 50 million soundtrack singles sold, 15 million albums, and billions of streams, PJ's contributions have shaped the music landscape of contemporary film and television. As Music Supervisor for the groundbreaking Glee franchise, he helped the series achieve the record for the most Billboard Hot 100 chart entries by a single act, securing its cultural and commercial impact.
Having worked on more than 1,000 television episodes, 50+ films, global sports programming, gaming platforms, advertising campaigns, Broadway cast recordings, and experiential projects, PJ has partnered with many of the world’s most renowned creators and storytellers, applying both creative vision and operational expertise to some of the most iconic titles in popular culture.
A trailblazer in advancing the music supervision profession, PJ is a Founding Member of the Guild of Music Supervisors and was instrumental in obtaining official recognition and awards status from the Television Academy (Emmys) and the Recording Academy (Grammys)—an achievement that transformed the industry and broadened opportunities for future music professionals.
During his executive role at Warner Records, PJ managed the label’s creative, licensing, and soundtrack divisions, directing music strategy across film, television, sports, gaming, and branded content. His leadership helped deliver record-breaking sync and licensing revenue and earned Warner its first "Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media" Grammy in over ten years for The United States vs. Billie Holiday.
As Founder of Black Magnetic Records & Publishing, PJ built a roster responsible for multiple global hits, including three Billboard Top 10 singles and two #1s—A Great Big World & Christina Aguilera’s Grammy-winning "Say Something" (over 2 billion streams) and Far East Movement’s "Like A G6," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three non-consecutive weeks (750 million+ streams)—generating over 3 billion streams, more than 1 billion YouTube views, and 12 million digital downloads across the catalog.
PJ is an active voting member of the Recording Academy (Grammys), the Television Academy (Emmys), and the Guild of Music Supervisors. He currently leads Rogue Music Group, a full-service music division serving film, television, media productions, and sports leagues.
