Noah was born to a British father and an American mother in a small village near Bury St. Edmunds, England. Two weeks later, he moved to New Mexico, living on a high-altitude quarter-horse training ranch with his parents and figures like Dennis Hopper (circa 1970). Tragically, Noah's mother passed away when he was three, after which he lived in New York with his father. At nine, his father died as well. By then, Noah had relocated to Miami, where his grandparents raised him until he was 15. At that point, he became independent, paying rent and running a car wash business. He pursued journalism in college, eventually becoming Features Editor of the campus newspaper, The Falcon Times, which was then the top-ranked college paper in the U.S. During high school and college, he interned and later worked at local TV station WSVN, starting as a utility worker and advancing to Electronic News Gathering (E.N.G.). His time there included being shot at, raiding crack dens with police, and flying in helicopters searching for escaped buffalo, among other adventures. However, after two years, he left Florida for California, chasing the elusive "wild oats."
Noah’s journey across the country was wild, traveling in a frequently breaking-down Volkswagen Transporter. When the vehicle finally gave out in Gila Bend, Arizona, he sold what he couldn’t carry and stayed with a friend of a friend in San Francisco. He initially lived in the Tenderloin district for about a year, studying acting with Bruno Borello. Soon, he felt the urge to move south to Los Angeles. After a few months, he landed a GTE commercial, earning him the coveted S.A.G. card, which propelled his career forward. His roles ranged from "Chaplin" alongside Robert Downey Jr. to "Cruel Doubt" with Gwyneth Paltrow. He progressed from The Gage Group to Johnathan Howard at the William Morris Agency, where he stayed for four years, appearing in projects like CBS’s "19," directed by Amy Heckerling (Clueless), and "20 Bucks," playing Brendan Fraser’s best man. In 1995, Noah moved to London and immediately began working, starting with John Sullivan’s WWII mini-series "Over Here," featuring Sam West and Martin Clunes. Since relocating to the UK, he has taken on numerous soldier roles, most recently opening the film "Buffalo Soldiers," a gritty army-noir by Australian director Gregor Jordan. His recent credits include "Batman Begins" and a current stage role in "Death of a Salesman" on London’s West End.
Noah continues to perform in film, television, theater, and voice work. On stage, he has appeared in The Private Room at the New End Theatre and earned Time Out Critic’s Choice for his role in "Gompers" at The Arcola Theatre.
As a prolific voice-over artist, Noah’s voice features in advertisements, video games, documentary narrations, and language tapes. His video game credits include "Viet Cong" (Crockett), "Sacred" (Battle Mage), "Carve" (Moki), and "Starship Troopers" (Base Leader). Documentary narration work includes "Miracle Statues" (BBC/Discovery Channel), "Bush for a Day" (BBC3), and "A Newsreel History of the Third Reich" (20 episodes, Arts Magic, UK). He has also voiced ads for Budweiser, American Airlines, Lego Sports, Virgin Mega-Stores, and many others.
Noah has written several film scripts, plays, and television pilots, which he is currently seeking to get produced.
