Fabio Lago is an actor, director, writer, and producer from Ilhéus, Bahia, Brazil. He gained recognition in film with his role in "Tropa de Elite" (2007) and later in the TV Globo soap opera "Caras & Bocas" (2009). Fabio began his theater career in 1986 with the play "Pluft, o Fantasminha" and has since appeared in 29 other productions, including "O Rouxinol e o Imperador" (1989), "Gabriela Cravo e Canela" (1990), "Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos" (1992), "Os Cafajestes" (1994 and 2008), "Cambaio" (2001), "A Missa dos Quilombos" (2002), "Hamlet - Laerte" (2008), and "Lampião e Lancelote" (2014). On television, he has been active since 1994 with appearances in shows like "Terça Nobre" (1994), "Você Decide" (1999), "A Grande Família" (2004), "A Diarista" (2005), "Carga Pesada," as well as soap operas such as "Senhora do Destino" (2005), "Da Cor do Pecado" (2004), "Cheias de Charme" (2012), "Tapas e Beijos" (2013), and "Do Outro Lado do Paraíso" (2017). He has also acted in miniseries including "Carandiru," "Outras Histórias" (2005), "JK" (2006), and "Força Tarefa" (2011).
