Natalie divides her time between L.A. and the UK, maintaining a base for her projects at the renowned Pinewood Studios, a prominent filmmaking hub.
Raised in the entertainment world, Natalie first appeared on stage as a child in her hometown of Birmingham, England. As the daughter of a UK rocker, her upbringing was deeply shaped by her father's music career. He was a bass player who rehearsed with Ozzy Osbourne and opened for acts like Tom Jones, The Who, The Moody Blues, Pink Floyd, Queen, and the Electric Light Orchestra.
After relocating to Canada, Natalie starred in more than 100 television episodes and earned six ACTRA award nominations across hosting, interviewing, and both comedic and dramatic acting categories. She later moved to New York to further her acting studies and has built a successful career as both an actress and stand-up comedian.
Committed to her craft, Natalie pursued professional training in comedy and drama. She studied improv at Toronto's Second City and took acting classes in New York, Toronto, London, and Los Angeles. Notably, she trained under Larry Moss, a legendary coach known for working with Leonardo DiCaprio, who praised her as "an extraordinary artist, a great comic actress," and described her work as demonstrating "the kind of bravery I rarely see."
Her acting education also includes training at London's prestigious Actors Centre and Los Angeles' iconic Groundlings Theatre, known for alumni like Will Ferrell, Melissa McCarthy, and Kristen Wiig. In 2016, Natalie graduated from the Advanced Sketch Comedy Writing program at UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre) in L.A., founded by renowned improvisers including former SNL star Amy Poehler.
Alongside writing and performing, Natalie has been painting since childhood. Despite her impressive achievements in art—such as replicating the Sistine Chapel Ceiling—she has never taken formal classes. In the fine art world, she has been dubbed the New Jackson Pollock and was featured in American Contemporary Art Magazine.
Renowned for boundless creativity, Natalie has designed footwear for international brands including Chinese Laundry, Birkenstock, Bebe, and most recently, the Playboy Corporation. As Playboy's first-ever footwear designer, she created their entire footwear collections for the U.S. and Canada for over eight years, all while touring internationally as a stand-up comedian. Additionally, she designed the complete footwear collection for Pamela Anderson.
Balancing her life between L.A. and the U.K., Natalie also hosts and produces her own podcast, The Gray Escape with Natalie Gray, available on iTunes. The podcast features celebrities and notable guests, with discussions ranging from comedy and entertainment to the nature of reality and the holographic universe.
In 2017, Warner Bros. scouted Natalie for her comedy talents, hiring her as a Senior Writer on a major project scheduled for release in 2020.
