Meredith Patterson, fondly known as "Merie," is a versatile actress, singer, dancer, writer, and producer who inspires audiences globally. Recently, she has taken on roles as a producer and podcast host. She created The Meredith Patterson Podcast, a platform focused on personal growth, mental health, and cultural awareness, attracting a loyal audience. Meredith also serves as the executive producer of Merie Productions, a company dedicated to producing innovative and uplifting content, including the acclaimed tribute concert series, The Music of Fleetwood Mac.
Alongside her production work, Meredith is a talented singer-songwriter with over 25 original songs. She independently produced her album MerieNYC, available on iTunes, highlighting her intimate artistry and storytelling.

In 2003, Meredith starred as Miss Polly Browne in Julie Andrews' directorial debut of The Boy Friend, reprising the role Andrews originated on Broadway 50 years earlier. Her acclaimed performance sparked a lasting relationship with Ms. Andrews, leading to Meredith’s role as Lady Alyssa Wells in The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, a character inspired by Garry Marshall’s family and Julie Andrews’ legacy.
Meredith made her Broadway debut in 2000 with The Green Bird, directed by Julie Taymor. The next year, she joined the original cast of the Tony Award-winning 42nd Street revival. Three months after opening, she was cast as Peggy Sawyer, a role she performed to critical acclaim from August 2001 to August 2002, with her performance archived at Lincoln Center. She also made history as the first American actress to star in an English-language musical in Moscow, Russia, performing 42nd Street as Peggy Sawyer and becoming the first actress billed above the title.
Her artistic journey began at age two, excelling in classical ballet, tap, and jazz. As a young dancer, she competed in prestigious competitions like Tremaine and Show Stoppers. Her passion expanded to singing at eight and acting at nine, debuting on stage at 13 in Concord Citi Arts' Cinderella.
At 17, Meredith toured nationwide as a teacher for The Universal Dance Association, sharing her skills with aspiring dancers. Determined to pursue Broadway, she moved to New York City at 18. By 19, she earned a Barrymore Award nomination and starred in two national tours by 20.
