Shawna Craig, a Mexican-Irish actress, host, and model, was born in Los Angeles, CA, and raised in Tallahassee, FL. Throughout her childhood, sports and the performing arts were her mainstays. In 2000, she enrolled in theatre school and signed with a local agency. That same year, she competed in Models of the South in Hilton Head, SC, winning Best Runway, Best Headshot, and Best Group Runway. She was homeschooled during her junior year to focus on acting. In her senior year, she auditioned for a college show choir and earned a spot on a team of 14, beating out hundreds of applicants. Entering college, she received a Fine Arts Scholarship for Show Choir, the Bright Future Scholarship, two Foundation scholarships, and a Pell Grant. At 20, Shawna drove cross-country to San Diego, where she landed a hosting role interviewing celebrities on the red carpet at various events. In November 2009, she moved back to Los Angeles and met her now-husband, Lorenzo Lamas. Her story was featured in the empowerment book "Change One Belief." She is recognized for her appearance on ABC’s Celebrity Wife Swap, which achieved record-breaking ratings for the season. Shawna also served as a spokesmodel for the Champ Car Atlantics series with official sponsor Cooper Tires. Frequently appearing with drivers on The Speed Channel and ESPN, she was honored with the opportunity to deliver the iconic "Drivers Start Your Engines" command at the Long Beach Grand Prix. Maintaining a long-standing partnership with Cooper Tires, she represented them in the Formula D series and toured with Professional Bull Riders Inc. (PBR), presenting awards in the ring. She also represented Mazda at Laguna Seca for both Moto GP and AMA events for two consecutive years. Shawna is currently a cast member of the E! Channel’s Second Wives Club.
