Keri Selig is a producer whose film and television work has earned nominations for numerous awards, including an Oscar, a Golden Globe, and multiple Emmys. She is the Founder and President of Intuition Productions, a Hollywood-based feature film and television production company. Intuition currently has a first-look co-venture with Mandalay Pictures (known for Air, The Last Dance, Batman) for scripted television and feature films, boasting a strong project slate. Selig has over a decade of experience as an executive leading companies within studio systems. She served as EVP of Production at Warner Bros.-based Bel Air Entertainment (Collateral Damage, Pay It Forward). Prior to that, she was EVP of Production at Kopelson Entertainment under 20th Century Fox (Se7en, The Fugitive) and SVP of Production at Cort/Madden under Paramount Pictures (Save the Last Dance, Run Away Bride).
Most recently, Selig produced Six Triple-Eight for Netflix with Mandalay Pictures, a film that received one Oscar nomination, won five NAACP awards including Outstanding Motion Picture, and earned three Women Film Critics Circle Award nominations. The film stars Kerry Washington, Oprah Winfrey, Susan Sarandon, Sam Waterston, and Dean Norris, and tells the true story of America’s first and only all-black, all-female World War II battalion.
She executive produced The Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, a four-hour miniseries based on the New York Times bestselling book by J. Randy Taraborrelli, starring Susan Sarandon, Emily Watson, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. The series was written by Stephen Kronish (24, The Kennedys) and directed by Laurie Collyer (Sherrybaby, Sunlight Jr.). It garnered 17 nominations, including three Emmys, a SAG, a DGA, and a Prism Award. Selig won the Women’s Image Award for Outstanding Film Producer for this project. She also executive produced After Camelot, a four-hour miniseries starring Katie Holmes and Matthew Perry, based on Taraborrelli’s acclaimed book, written by Kronish and directed by Jon Cassar (24, The Kennedys). This project earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Limited Series.
Selig’s current feature film projects include Tommy & Me, set up at Paramount Skydance with Channing Tatum’s Free Association (Blink Twice) attached and Cambron Clark (upcoming Madden starring Nicolas Cage and Christian Bale) writing, with Reid Carolin (Dog) directing. Her slate also includes Told You So, a bestselling Audible original high-concept romantic comedy set up at Sony with Olive Bridge and Will Gluck (Anyone But You) attached, David Freyne (Eternity) directing, and Gemma Burgess (My Lady Jane) writing. Additionally, she is developing a biopic on Margaret Wise Brown, the celebrated children’s author, with Rebecca Miller (Mr. Scorsese) writing, Julianne Moore starring, and Martin Scorsese executive producing. Another project in development is Mascots, set up at Skydance Animation with Mandalay Entertainment. Her active television project, Instant Replay, tells the untold true story of TV’s revolutionary figures. It is set up at Lionsgate with Mandalay Entertainment and includes writer Dana Stevens (The Woman King, Fatherhood), Kim Moses (Reckless, Ghost Whisperer, Gone), and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Malcolm in the Middle) attached.
Among Selig’s film and TV credits are producing the romantic thriller Passengers, starring Anne Hathaway and directed by Rodrigo García (Albert Nobbs, In Treatment) for Sony Pictures; executive producing The Stepford Wives, starring Nicole Kidman, written by Paul Rudnick (Addams Family Values, Sister Act), and directed by Frank Oz (Little Shop of Horrors, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) for Paramount Pictures with Scott Rudin (The Social Network, Moneyball); co-producing the Emmy-nominated HBO film Point of Origin, starring Ray Liotta and John Leguizamo, directed by renowned cinematographer Newton Thomas Sigel; executive producing It Must Be Love for CBS, starring Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Beth Henley; and co-producing Harlan County War, the Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated Showtime film directed by Academy Award winner Tony Bill and starring Academy Award winner Holly Hunter.
Her unscripted credits include producing Bounty Wars for The Discovery Channel with Asylum Entertainment (Addicted, 30 for 30); Crown Chasers for TLC with LMNO Entertainment (The Little Couple); Stars & Chefs for The CW Network with Radical Media (Mad Men, Iconoclasts) and A Smith & Co. (Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares); and Heir Hunters for TLC with Bunim/Murray (The Kardashians, Project Runway).
Beyond her professional work in Hollywood, Selig is deeply committed to philanthropy. She actively supports A Sense of Home, Wags and Walks, and Oceana, and serves on the Board of Advisors for Children Mending Hearts.
