Kristina Walter was born and raised in Vienna, where she trained as an actress before studying under Lee Strasberg in New York. On stage, she worked with directors such as Jean Pierre Ponnelle ('Die Bachantinnen' and 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'), Wolfgang Forester ('Kennedy's Children'), Gerd Omar Leutner ('Don Carlos'), and Peter Th. Heydrich ('Liebesgeschichte des Jahrhunderts' and 'Blick zurück im Zorn'). Kristina showcased her comedic skills in productions like 'Charlie's Tante' and as Miss Wilkinson in 'Wie wär's denn Mrs. Markham?', directed by Wolfgang Spier. She is also a talented mezzo-soprano singer, performing roles such as Bianca in 'Kiss Me Kate', and toured successfully with Georg Kreisler's one-woman musical 'Lola Blau'.
Kristina has appeared in numerous television features, including 'Geschichten aus der Heimat', 'Familie Heinz Becker', 'Lindenstrasse', 'Stadtklinik', 'Alphateam', 'Katrin ist die Beste', 'Verbotene Liebe', 'Die Wache', 'Die Anrheiner', and 'Nikola'.
