Sharieff Walters is an actor, writer, director, and producer from San Jose, California. Originally on a football scholarship at Utah State University, Walters’ path shifted after academic challenges, but his commitment to storytelling never wavered. After attending junior college, Walters chose to pursue life beyond the classroom, enlisting in the United States Marine Corps. While serving, he continued to nurture his passion for acting through theater. Following the events of September 11 attacks, he completed two tours of duty in Iraq - an experience that would deeply inform his voice as an artist. After his honorable discharge, Walters relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time. Confronting the realities of post-war trauma, he entered a VA combat stress program, ultimately completing it and channeling that journey into his creative work with focus and discipline. Walters trained at American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and continues to study at the Howard Fine Acting Studio, refining a grounded, emotionally precise approach to performance. His on-screen work includes numerous short films and features. Expanding beyond acting, Walters writes, produces, and directs his own material, creating roles that showcase his range and perspective. His films - Fear of Shadows, Brotherhood, Chasing Denzel, Blood on the Leaves, and Trolled - have screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals and earned multiple awards. With a background shaped by discipline, adversity, and lived experience, Walters brings authenticity and intensity to every role. He continues to develop film and television projects with the goal of delivering powerful, character-driven stories.
