Geoff is a fifth-generation San Franciscan, an award-winning director, producer, and a seasoned actor with over 25 years of experience across film, television, advertising, and New Media.
He has appeared in numerous films, often in one-on-one scenes alongside A-list stars such as Will Smith, Nicole Kidman, Ashley Judd, and Mark Ruffalo. His acting style has drawn comparisons to Tom Hanks, known for portraying characters who "can steal your heart, and then your wallet."
While acting remains his passion, Geoff has also built a remarkable career as a documentary film producer and director, focusing on projects that inspire societal change and personal growth.
As President and Founder of Emergency Clock Productions, he has produced and directed a wide array of award-winning documentaries, short films, Super Bowl commercials, sports television shows, original web series, and national and international social media campaigns.
Geoff co-directed, co-wrote, and produced the feature documentary The Push: Owning Your Reality Is Where the Journey Begins (2018) with Jeffrey Allard. The film tells the inspiring story of Grant Korgan, a world-class adventurer who suffered a burst fracture of his L1 vertebra while filming a snowmobiling segment in the Sierra Nevada. In 2012, Grant became the first spinal cord-injured athlete to push himself nearly 100 miles—the final degree of latitude—to the geographic South Pole, one of the planet’s most inhospitable locations.
He also produced and co-directed the award-winning documentary Pursuit of Equality (2005), hailed as a "must-see" and "required viewing for all Americans." The film, which won multiple audience awards at film festivals, highlights the marriage equality movement sparked by then-Mayor Gavin Newsom in 2004. For his work on this project, Geoff received the "Local Hero Award" from GLAAD and was recognized by 7x7 Magazine as an "Innovative Leader in the Creative Industry" in independent filmmaking. Geoff is also the brother-in-law of California Governor Gavin Newsom.
In 2013, SONY selected him to compete as a director in the Napa Valley Film Festival’s Sony 4K Film Challenge.
Before founding his production companies, Geoff served as Executive Producer for One World Network’s new media division, co-founded by Melanie Griffith. He oversaw all film, video, and internet production, creating original content for both online and offline platforms. He also held roles as Director of Business Development and Director of Syndication.
As an accomplished actor, Geoff has co-starred in numerous feature films and television series, notably appearing opposite Will Smith in Pursuit of Happyness; Nicole Kidman in Hemingway & Gellhorn; and Chris Pine in Bottle Shock.
