Bianca is a Latina actress from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her father is a writer and teacher of Italian-Portuguese heritage. She is also a producer, director, and writer. Beginning her career at 17, Bianca quickly performed in numerous theater productions throughout Brazil. Her television journey started in 2004 with an exclusive eight-year contract with GLOBO, starring in over ten in-house productions. Her work in Brazilian cinema earned her multiple awards and nominations, with appearances in more than thirteen films. Bianca was among the first actresses of her generation to leave Globo and focus on series, winning the Brazilian Critics Award (APCA) for her role as Carol (April) in the adaptation of the dramatic series In Treatment. She starred in Felipe Hirsch’s MTV series Gaming Instinct and landed the lead role of Michelle in Netflix's first Brazilian production, the hit series "3%." Bianca also took part in internationally acclaimed projects such as "The Nightshifter" (SHUDDER), "Maybe a Love Story" (WARNER), and "Beyond the Map" (GOOGLE). She created an interactive Alexa experience titled "The 3% Challenge," based on the "3%" intellectual property. In early 2021, she starred in IBM LATAM’s "Coders" campaign. Bianca led the cast of "Intervention," an original Netflix film about a rookie police officer navigating the challenges of law enforcement in Rio de Janeiro. She also played the lead role of Carol in the upcoming 2022 Star+ (HULU BR) series "It Wasn’t My Fault."
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Bianca is the daughter of writer Doc Comparato and the older sister of actress and presenter Lorena Comparato. She is of Portuguese and Italian descent. At 16, she received a three-month residency at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. After returning to Brazil, she committed to developing her craft, completing her academic studies while taking drama and movement classes as per her parents' wishes. Bianca earned a film degree from the Pontifical Catholic University in Rio de Janeiro.
Her first theatrical role was in "O Ateneu," directed by Leonardo Bricio at the Villa-Lobos Theatre. Bianca made her television debut in Globo's series CARGA PESADA, leading to a recurring role in SENHORA DO DESTINO, a hugely popular drama that attracted half of Brazil’s TV audience during its broadcasts. She then secured roles in soap operas such as BELLÍSSIMA, where she played Maria João opposite Paolla Oliveira, and the dramedy COBRAS & LAGARTOS, as well as POR TODA MINHA VIDA, ANTONIA, BELEZA PURA, ALINE, and A VIDA DE GENTE. Bianca debuted in feature films with Rudi Lagemann’s ANJOS DO SOL ("Angels of the Sun") and later starred in Malu De Martino’s award-winning COMO ESQUECER ("So Hard to Forget"). To date, she has appeared in over 20 television productions. Notably, Bianca portrayed Betânia in the primetime telenovela AVENIDA BRASIL, which averaged 46 million weekly viewers, becoming the most commercially successful telenovela in Brazilian history. On stage, she has performed in eight theatrical productions, including ÚLTIMOS REMORSOS ANTES DO ESQUECIMENTO at Temporada Theater, the world premiere of A FRUTA E A CASCA at Casa da Gávea—based on Joaquim Maria Machado de Assis’s novel "Dom Casmurro"—and her own production of "Romeo and Juliet.
