Jamie Anderson has been honored as "The New Female Director to Watch" by Viva Glam Magazine and listed among the "Top 25 Writers to Watch" by The International Screenwriters' Association. She recently wrote, directed, and produced the comedy pilot "Pumas." Jamie directed the 2023 Telly Award-winning commercial "Don't Just Suck It Up," featuring Iliza Shlesinger, and a Craig's Vegan spot set to "My Way," which earned her a 2021 Telly Award for Directing. She has also written, directed, and produced four award-winning short films, including "The Feeling Expert," which won Outstanding Directing and Best Supporting Actor, "Punching Bag," awarded Best Director, and the dark comedies "I'm F%$#ing Fine" and "Me Too Nice," the latter screened at twenty-one festivals. Her English romantic comedy "I Won't Say I Love You," filmed in the UK, received accolades such as Best Romantic Short, Best Romance, and Best Actress. Jamie is set to direct a slate of feature films, including "Pregnant in Las Vegas," which she wrote, for Patriot Pictures; "My Summer in Rome," co-written by her, for Filmtrax; and "Arigato Tokyo" for Talaria Media. She is also developing a comedy feature with Propagate Content and a veteran comedy series inspired by her life and the book *Unsealed* by former Navy SEAL Mark Greene for Talaria Media.
A screenwriter, director, and producer based in Los Angeles since age nineteen, Jamie grew up in Gulfport, Mississippi, and Orlando, Florida. Her work draws inspiration from both the South and her Hollywood experiences, rich sources of material. Known for blending humor with heartfelt storytelling, she transforms pain into absurdity with passion and depth. After a career in film and television acting, Jamie discovered her true passions lie in writing, directing, and helping others shine on screen.
