Biographie
In 2016, Kayciblu Wright was cast as Kayla James in the film Child Support, which addresses parenting and bullying issues. Filmed in West Palm Beach, Florida, Kayciblu brought the spunky 14-year-old character to life, showcasing her talents as a young actress. Since then, she has appeared in short films, feature films, and guest-starred on major networks such as NBC, OWN, and Investigation Discovery Channel.
Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Kayciblu discovered her love for the stage at the age of three. In 2007, she began dancing with Rising Stars Dance Academy, a top dance competition team in Rhode Island, competing across New England and nationwide. The team earned the KAR National Production Title in both 2013 and 2014. Alongside dancing, Kayciblu joined the Model Club Agency in Boston in 2011, focusing on print and commercial modeling.
Kayciblu’s music career took off in 2013, growing her fan base as a 12-year-old music entertainer and actress. Though from Rhode Island, she was influenced by her New York family roots, which gave her a big-city attitude. After spending hours rapping along to artists on YouTube and watching movies on Netflix, Kayciblu’s parents encouraged her to record in the studio when they heard her reciting her own rhymes.
Combining her energy with positivity, Kayciblu made a breakthrough with the "No Kids Left Behind Music Tour," which promoted education and extracurricular activities to children in inner-city schools throughout New England. Her captivating stage presence and fashion-forward style quickly resonated with audiences. This tour led to participation in "The Anti-Bullying Music Tour" in New York and numerous acting auditions. Additionally, she performed at the FOO Festival, one of Providence’s largest music festivals, appeared in several radio interviews, and participated in numerous charity events.
Kayciblu is managed by Corey and Shana Wright and collaborates with Roger Paul, INC. in New York City as she continues to pursue her career goals.
