Michael MacDonald is a Canadian producer, director, and writer with expertise in paranormal, science fiction, aviation, lifestyle, and fantasy genres. Renowned for his UFO and paranormal projects, he wrote and directed 'The Shag Harbour UFO Incident,' 'Intruders! Abductees Speak Out!,' and the two-hour feature documentary 'Northern Lights: The Canadian UFO Experience,' all produced for the SPACE network.
In 2009, Michael and his partner Ian Johnston debuted their documentary 'Famous Monster: Forrest J Ackerman' at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood, featuring John Landis, Ray Bradbury, and Forrest Ackerman. The Globe and Mail described it as "Engaging, funny, and to be cherished."
Michael also wrote, directed, and appeared in 'Supernatural Investigator: The Antichrist' and 'Visions From the Edge: The Art of Science Fiction.'
As a licensed pilot, he fulfilled his passion for flying by creating 'The Hero's Hero,' a film about Canada's most decorated flying ace, Billy Barker. Pierre Burton praised it as "A terrific profile of a real Canadian hero."
