Biographie
Mr. Colichman is the Chief Executive Officer of Here Media, the premier multimedia company serving the LGBT audience worldwide. As a co-founder of Here Media, he also serves on its board of directors. The company collaborates with over 100 international distributors and broadcasters.
His film Departures won the 2008 Academy Award® for Best Foreign Language Film. He also produced Gods and Monsters, directed by Bill Condon and featuring Ian McKellen, Brendan Fraser, and Lynn Redgrave. The film received three Academy Award® nominations, winning Best Adapted Screenplay, four Golden Globe nominations with a win for Best Supporting Actress, three Independent Spirit Awards, and numerous other global honors including the National Board of Review’s Best Picture award. Twilight of the Golds, starring Brendan Fraser, Jennifer Beals, Faye Dunaway, Garry Marshall, and Rosie O'Donnell, earned two Cable Ace Awards. Additionally, he produced the Academy Award® nominated film Tom and Viv, starring Willem Dafoe, Miranda Richardson, and Rosemary Harris.
Here TV, a division of Here Media under Mr. Colichman, recently received a Daytime Emmy® nomination for the documentary 30 Years From Here, which explores the three-decade fight against the AIDS epidemic. The company also earned a Daytime Emmy® nomination for The Ribbon of Hope Celebration.
Mr. Colichman and his productions have received wide acclaim, including Academy Awards®, Golden Globes, and GLAAD Media Awards. His work has also been honored with Aurora Awards, Davey Awards, W3 Awards, the ACLU Pride Partnership Award, Outfest Awards, Omni Intermedia Awards, American Design Awards, Aegis Awards, Cine Awards, Communicator Awards, Creativity Awards, Hermes Awards, Telly Awards, Summit MEA Awards, among others.

Mr. Colichman holds a BA in Political Science and an MBA with Honors from UCLA Anderson. He has been honored by the ACLU, Outfest, the Stonewall Democrats, and GLAAD, and was named one of UCLA Anderson’s 100 Most Inspirational Alumni.
