Biographie
Joseph Vecsey is a comedian, producer, writer, and actor. Recently, he acted in and co-produced the Netflix film "Hustle," starring Adam Sandler. He also produced Kevin James's "Home Team" and appeared as The Announcer. Joseph has co-produced, acted, and contributed script punch-ups for numerous Happy Madison films, including "Hubie Halloween," "The Wrong Missy," "Father of The Year," "The Week Of," "Sandy Wexler," and "Murder Mystery," featuring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, which became one of Netflix’s biggest hits. On screen, Joseph appeared in the popular commercials and web series "The Unmovers." He also wrote, directed, starred in, and produced the parody sketch "Stud Walk" for Charlamagne The God’s MTV2 show "Uncommon Sense." Joseph made his TV stand-up debut in 2015 on "Gotham Comedy Live" on AXS TV and was named one of Comedy Central’s Top Ten Comics To Watch in 2016. Soon after, he toured arenas and theaters nationwide, opening for Adam Sandler, David Spade, Norm Macdonald, Nick Swardson, and Rob Schneider. Joseph co-produced Adam Sandler’s first Netflix stand-up special, "100% Fresh." Upcoming Netflix projects include "You're So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah" and "Murder Mystery 2," where he serves as producer, on-set writer, and actor. He also hosts The Call Back Podcast, featuring comedic icons like Garry Shandling, Chris Rock, Aziz Ansari, Romany Malco, Neal Brennan, Tom Green, Gary Gulman, and others discussing their creative process, craft, and breakthrough moments.
