Ariadna Thalía Sodi Miranda (born August 26, 1971), known simply as Thalía, is a Mexican singer, songwriter, producer, actress, and entrepreneur. She is regarded as one of the most successful and influential Mexican artists globally. In addition to Spanish, Thalía has performed songs in English, Tagalog, French, and Portuguese.
Often called the "Queen of Latin Pop" by international media, Thalía has been a prominent figure in the Latin pop music scene for over thirty years. As a solo performer, she has sold more than 50 million records worldwide. Her honors include five Billboard Latin Music Awards (from 17 nominations), multiple Premios Juventud and Lo Nuestro Awards, and seven Latin Grammy nominations. She has worked with acclaimed artists such as Tony Bennett, Michael Bublé, Robbie Williams, Marc Anthony, Laura Pausini, Romeo Santos, and Carlos Vives, as well as contemporary stars like Maluma, Prince Royce, Becky G, and Natti Natasha.
In her acting career, Thalía has starred in numerous successful telenovelas broadcast in over 180 countries, earning her the title "Queen of Telenovelas" in the media. The widespread reach of her telenovelas helped introduce her music to audiences outside the Spanish-speaking world, including in Europe and Asia.
