Gina Hiraizumi returns in Season 3 of the acclaimed HBO Max series Doom Patrol (2019). Based on the DC Universe, she portrays "The Quiz," a passionate and fearless mystery also known as the Japanese-speaking "Sachiko." As the most formidable member of the Sisterhood of the Dada, her narrative stretches from the Spanish Flu era of the early 1900s to the present day. The show was renewed for another season on HBO Max in 2022.

In the Season premiere of Dynasty (2017) on The CW, Hiraizumi stars as "Barbara," a wealthy and sophisticated venture capitalist. Playing this role in the elegant Carrington Manor felt natural, reflecting her own heritage rooted in entrepreneurship and business.
Her 2021 television appearances also include AMC/Shudder’s Creepshow (2019), helmed by Greg Nicotero of AMC’s The Walking Dead (2010), as well as NBC’s Mr. Mayor (2021) and Good Girls (2018). Additionally, she guest-starred in a late episode of the final season of CBS’s Hawaii Five-0 (2010).
A favorite on Lifetime Television, Gina has appeared in over 15 TV movies, notably starring as a mortgage firm CEO and close friend to Vivica A. Fox in The Wrong Real Estate Agent (2021).
The eldest of three sisters, Hiraizumi was raised in Los Angeles, CA, spending summers studying in Tokyo. Fluent in both English and Japanese, she attended American schools alongside two private Japanese schools six days a week. Her upbringing, marked by strict Japanese discipline and work ethic from preschool through 12th grade, has greatly contributed to her professional success. A classically trained pianist, she studied at Yamaha Music for over a decade. Her classical training eventually led her to The Juilliard School, where she refined her passion for vocal performance.
While living in New York City, she performed the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden, and later sang for the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center and the Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium.
Coming from a family with a multigenerational history of entrepreneurship, her father served as CEO of a travel agency for over 40 years, providing the family with an international lifestyle. With parents who owned multiple businesses, she was immersed in mature business environments from an early age, gaining firsthand entrepreneurial insight.
Hiraizumi is a dedicated advocate for infertility and IVF awareness. Openly sharing her experiences with multiple miscarriages and challenges conceiving naturally with her husband, she joins other celebrities in breaking the stigma surrounding these issues. Her hope is to support millions of women facing similar struggles, reassuring them they are not alone. In 2021, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Brooke.
