Biographie
Johnny Remo has held various roles in the entertainment industry and continues to do so. He has achieved success as an actor on stage, television, and film, including performing in the award-winning play "Just Roommates," which he also wrote. His TV credits include the Emmy-winning daytime shows "One Life to Live" and "All My Children," as well as Steven Spielberg's "Innerspace."
In addition to acting, Johnny has produced over 15 feature films, writing and directing seven of them. Recent productions include "Monstrous" starring Christina Ricci, "The Chariot" featuring John Malkovich, Rosa Salazar, and Thomas Mann, "F.R.E.D.I.," which won "Best of Fest" at the Bentonville Film Festival founded by Geena Davis, and "Max Winslow and the House of Secrets." He has collaborated with producers such as Debra Hill, known for "Escape from New York," "Fisher King," and "Escape from LA," and Robert Simonds, producer of "The Spy Next Door," "Pink Panther," "Happy Gilmore," and "The Dog Who Saved Easter" for Lionsgate.
Following his success producing projects for others, Johnny launched his own production company, SkipStone Pictures, in 2008. As a filmmaker, he has co-written, produced, and directed feature films including "A Letter to Dad," "Cutback," "Hardflip," "Like A Country Song," "Saved By Grace," and "F.R.E.D.I." All these films were produced by SkipStone Pictures and received 5 Doves from The Dove Foundation along with multiple awards across various categories.
After distributing his own films, Johnny established SkipStone Cinema, the distribution division of SkipStone Pictures, and secured an output deal with Sony Pictures.
