Biographie
Rupesh Gohil is an Indian film and television producer, director, entrepreneur, and with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. He is the Founder and Director of RDG Production Pvt. Ltd., a Mumbai-based content production company engaged in feature films, television programming, OTT content, music, and digital media ventures.
Over the course of his career, Gohil has produced and developed content across multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, and Hyderabadi cinema. His work spans television serials, feature films, music videos, documentaries, digital series, and streaming content.
He gained recognition through successful television productions such as Gul Sanobar, a large-scale fantasy television series that was broadcast internationally across Bangladesh, Indonesia, Bahrain, Brunei, the United Kingdom, and the United States. He also produced Miss India / Main Banungi Miss India, a popular television drama featuring notable personalities including Shilpa Shinde, Pakhi Hegde, Vinod Kambli, Dalip Tahil, Ronit Roy, and several leading television actors.
In feature films, Gohil produced the Telugu socio-fantasy film Brahma Lokam to Yama Lokam via Bhoolokam starring Rajendra Prasad and Shivaji, which received critical appreciation and a successful theatrical release. He was also associated with the Telugu commercial blockbuster Cinema Choopistha Mava starring Avika Gor, one of the successful Telugu films of 2015. His production credits further include the Bengali thriller Kuheli, the Hyderabadi comedy feature Phas Gaye Yaaro, and several regional film and digital content ventures.
As an entrepreneur, Gohil has expanded his media footprint through the launch of RDG Vibe, a digital streaming platform available on Android and iOS that showcases films, television content, crime stories, horror series, comedy programming, and original entertainment properties. He also heads RDG Tune, a music label focused on independent music, film soundtracks, and digital music distribution, along with RDG Connect, a platform dedicated to behind-the-scenes content, interviews, podcasts, and creator engagement.
His recent productions include the Marathi feature film Abhaya, presented by Dr. Vimal Raj Mathur and Gradiente Infotainment Ltd.; the Telugu feature film Trending Love; the Gujarati feature film Khelando and the anthology series Blind Game. These projects reflect his commitment to developing commercially viable and socially relevant stories across diverse genres and markets.
Under his leadership, RDG Production Pvt. Ltd. has built an extensive content library comprising television episodes, feature films, digital originals, and music properties.
