Biographie
Federico Durán is a producer, writer, and director recognized for the TV series Mil Colmillos, as well as films like El Páramo (also known as The Squad) (2011), Alias María (2015), The Story of the Pink Trunk, and Our Lady of the Assassins. He produced Mil Colmillos (post), HBO Colombia’s first series, serving as showrunner and producer. This action, suspense, and horror series was created and directed by Jaime Osorio, co-created by Guillermo Escalona, and also directed by Pablo González and José Luis Rugeles.

- We Are the Heat (executive producer), a hip-hop feature film written by Diego Vivanco and directed by Jorge Navas.
- Alias María (producer), a social drama feature written by Diego Vivanco and directed by José Luis Rugeles. It was an official selection at Un Certain Regard, Cannes International Film Festival 2015, and received Best Script at the Beijing International Film Festival, the Signis Award at the Fribourg International Film Festival, and Best Feature Carmel Award at the Haifa International Film Festival.
- Elephant the Horse (co-producer), a children’s adventure feature written and directed by Andrés Waissbulth, showcased at festivals including Cartagena, Guadalajara, Miami, Panamá, Chicago Latino, and Stockholm.
- El Páramo (aka The Squad) (producer), a horror feature written and directed by Jaime Osorio Márquez, which earned Best Up & Coming Director at Sitges 2011, Best Script at Guadalajara 2012, and Best Editing and Makeup at the Macondo Colombian Academy Awards.
- The Story of the Pink Trunk (producer), a feature written and directed by Libia Stella Gómez.
- Our Lady of the Assassins (production manager), a feature film based on Fernando Vallejo’s novel and directed by Barbet Schroeder, which won the Special Senate Award at the Venice International Film Festival 2000.
