Zac Pullam, an American actor and son of Allen Pullam and Michelle Glisson-Pullam, secured his first series regular role on MTV's "Finding Carter," which aired for two and a half seasons. He played Grant Wilson, the younger brother of Carter (portrayed by UK actress Kathryn Prescott), Taylor (Anna Jacoby-Herron), and the son of Elizabeth (Cynthia Watros) and David (Alexis Denisof), alongside family friend Max (Alex Saxon).
Born in Ocala, Florida, in 2001, Zac moved with his family to Tallahassee in 2006, which he considers his hometown. From a young age, he enjoyed performing, participating in school plays, talent shows, and local theater productions in Tallahassee. In 2011, after appearing in a local fashion show with Marsha Doll Models, he discovered an open casting call at the renowned Florida State University Film School. Within a month, he landed a lead role in his first short film. Over time, Zac appeared in more than 15 Florida State University student films, often in lead roles. Three of these films—"Cootie Contagion," "The Hatchling," and "Lemonopolis"—won College Television Emmy Awards. He also booked his first print job for the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry.
Continuing to pursue acting, Zac took classes and workshops in Atlanta, Georgia, where he signed with a local agent. In January 2013, he and his mother relocated to Los Angeles to further his career. There, he signed with an agent and manager and began auditioning widely. He landed roles such as the "Trident Player" in a Trident Layers commercial and music video, appeared in two episodes of "Awesomeness TV's Kid History," featured in a Toby Keith music video, and worked on other projects before being cast as Grant in "Finding Carter."
Zac has also appeared on NCIS, Marvel: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and in "Hillbilly Elegy," a Netflix film directed by Ron Howard, an experience he describes as a dream come true. Most recently, he booked a supporting role in the film "Lilly," starring Patricia Clarkson.
When not working, Zac enjoys writing and directing short films, skateboarding, surfing, listening to music, fishing when he’s home in Florida, and spending time with friends. He graduated with honors in 2019 from Florida's Virtual Online School, earning his diploma in just three years.
