Filip Juricic is a Croatian actor who graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art at the University of Zagreb. During his studies, he delivered an award-winning performance in the cult classic Exit Play "Kako mislis mene nema?". In 2004, he received the Croatian Actor Award for Best Actor Under 28 for his role in the drama "U noci". He also won two Golden Lions at the Umag Theatre Festival for these performances.
In 2002, Juricic starred in an adaptation of Don Juan at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb. He has actively performed in productions by Kufer Theatre, Agram Theatre, Zar Ptica Theatre, Histrion Acting Troupe, Kerempuh Satirical Theatre, National Theatre in Rijeka, Virovitica Theatre, Knapp Acting House, Velika Gorica Theatre, and Teatar ITD. Additionally, he was invited to perform at Zagreb’s Planet Art Theatre and Koprivnica’s Ludens Theatre, both independent art venues founded by his close colleagues Marko Torjanac and Sven Sestak.
Since April 2014, Juricic has been a permanent member of the Komedija Theatre in Zagreb. He has appeared in over twenty productions there, including leading roles in "Revizor", "The Legend of Saint Muhle", and "Dangerous Relations". In a joint production between Komedija and the Croatian National Theatre in Varazdin, he received critical acclaim for portraying William Shakespeare in "Shakespeare in Love". For his role as Petruchio in Komedija Theatre’s adaptation of "Taming of the Shrew", he won the 2014 Fabijan Sovagovic Award for Best Actor in a Play.
On screen, Juricic is recognized for his acclaimed television work and leading roles in the films U tisini (2006) and The Show Must Go On (2010), earning a Golden Arena nomination for Best Supporting Actor for the latter. His film credits also include Here (2003) and Sex pice i krvoprolice (2004). On television, he has been featured in numerous ensemble casts, portraying Marko Marusic in Love in Offside (2005), Domagoj Rebac in Zakon ljubavi (2008), Dinko Bilic in Larin izbor (2011), and Nikola Seper in Tajne (2013), which achieved commercial success and established him as a household name. His portrayal of Petar Malbasa in Tate (2020) elevated his status as a sex symbol in Serbia.
Juricic has also made guest and recurring appearances in Nasa mala klinika (2004), Kad zvoni? (2005), Neighbors Forever (2007), and Cista ljubav (2017). For his guest role in Neighbors Forever (2007), he received a Poseidon Award nomination at the Dalmatia Culture Festival for Outstanding Performance in a Television Comedy. He won the award in 2012 for his lead role in the television film Larin izbor: Izgubljeni princ (2012), based on Larin izbor (2011), co-starring Doris Pinčić Guberović and Ivan Herceg.
His voice acting work spans radio dramas and Croatian-language dubs of animated films and motion pictures. Notable roles include Donatello in TMNT (2007), Mayor Ned McDodd in Horton Hears a Who! (2008), Master Monkey in the Kung Fu Panda series (2008–2016), Flint Lockwood in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009) and its sequel (2013), Pedro in Rio (2011) and Rio 2 (2014), Turley in Rango (2011), and the title character in Paddington (2014) and Paddington 2 (2017).
Among the many characters he has voiced, Juricic cites Bugsy from the 2005 feature Valiant (originally voiced by Ricky Gervais) as his favorite role.
