From Southern California, Beverly began her career in the entertainment industry as a professional dancer and actress, performing in front of the camera for over a decade before discovering that her true passion was behind the lens. After living and working in Toronto and New York City as a performer, Beverly returned to Los Angeles to pursue a career in production as a Director and Producer. She honed her craft working on productions including ABC's Life in Pieces, Good Girls, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Kevin Hart's Campus Law, projects for A&E and FYI Networks, and the feature film Beautiful Boy, gaining invaluable experience across television, commercials, and feature films.
Beverly founded her own production company and has since produced commercial campaigns, films, documentaries and music videos for clients both domestically and internationally. Her growing body of work includes collaborations with Paramount+, Viacom, Hallmark, A&E, Hydrafacial, Imbue Curls, Viasat, and music videos that have amassed more than 14 million views. Beverly now directs and produces commercial, marketing, and social media campaigns for some of Broadway's most celebrated productions, including Hamilton, The Outsiders, The Outsiders North American Tour, CATS: The Jellicle Ball, and Hadestown. Her work also extends to brands and organizations such as People Magazine and The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.
With a deep passion for storytelling and a talent for transforming words on a page into cinematic visuals, Beverly is honored to help bring Broadway's stories to life for audiences around the world in a cinematic way.
Driven by authenticity and emotion, Beverly believes the most compelling stories are the ones that feel deeply human. Whether producing a commercial campaign, documentary, or narrative film, her goal is always the same: to create visually striking work that resonates, inspires, and leaves a lasting impact.
"With a vision and camera in hand...I realized creating and telling stories through a lens made me feel alive, and I thought to myself... what better feeling?" - Beverly Batzel
