Biografi
Pablo Andrade, a Venezuelan-born actor and director, is the Founder and Artistic Director of Corezon Theater Company in New York and a faculty member at HB Studio. With around 15 years of experience in professional theater, he began his career with some of Venezuela’s most esteemed theater companies. Since relocating to New York in 2011, Andrade has collaborated with numerous theater groups including Repertorio Español, Tectonic Theater Project, The Public Theater, Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Teatro Círculo, Russian Arts Theater, IATI, HB Ensemble Theater, Teatro SEA, INTAR, and more. He is an alumnus of HB Studio and the Hagen Institute, as well as a participant in the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts’ Cultural Visitor Program. As a director, he has been guided by mentors such as Jack Hofsis, Robert McQueen, Aleksey Burago, Austin Pendleton, and Thomas Kail. Andrade is an Associate Member of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC) and the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA).
His notable awards include the ATI Award for Breakthrough Director (2018), HOLA Award for Outstanding Achievement in Directing (2017), Fuerza Award for Best Director (2017), Latin ACE Award for Best Actor in Drama (2015), and HOLA Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor (2014).
