Fay Wolf is a Los Angeles-based musician, performer, author, and expert in decluttering.
She studied at Boston University School for the Arts and London's LAMDA, earning a BFA in Acting. Her theatrical work includes performances at the O'Neill Theatre Center, Radio City Music Hall, Boston Playwrights Theatre, and a national tour with Clearchannel. After relocating to Los Angeles, she appeared on TV shows such as Numb3rs, Ghost Whisperer, Bones, 2 Broke Girls, Children's Hospital, and had a recurring role on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Fay later paused her acting career to concentrate on music and writing.
Her emotionally resonant songs have featured on Grey’s Anatomy (notably her track "Yours" during Cristina Yang’s monologue), Pretty Little Liars (including her cover of The Outfield’s "Your Love" on the Official Pretty Little Liars TV Soundtrack), The Fosters, Vampire Diaries, Carrie Diaries, One Tree Hill, Covert Affairs, Chasing Life, and others. She has released three albums and multiple singles, available on platforms like Spotify, Bandcamp, iTunes, and Amazon. Her cover of "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" has exceeded 1 million streams on Spotify, and her single "These Kids" was released in 2019.
In 2016, Ballantine/Random House published her debut book, "New Order: A Decluttering Handbook For Creative Folks (And Everyone Else)," which reflects over ten years of her expertise in decluttering. Fay was the keynote speaker at Etsy’s first conference in New York City and has also presented at Soho House LA, Random House headquarters, The LA Times Book Festival, among others. The book was featured twice in The New York Times, and she graced the cover of Better Homes & Gardens magazine as one of their selected "Stylemakers."
