Biografi
Rob Loos serves as President of zing productions inc., a Hollywood-based television and film production company dedicated to projects that "have a little zing." Loos writes, produces, and directs with passion, humor, and precision: "I have an insatiable drive to bring projects to life—zing allows me to collaborate with talented individuals, companies, studios, and distributors to create and refine top-quality material across diverse formats, from feature films to TV series, animation to reality shows, webisodes to stage plays—it's never dull when you have zing!"
Loos built his reputation as a partner at TLC Entertainment, an independent production and distribution firm located at CBS Studio Center. Alongside business partner George Taweel, he earned 113 awards for creative excellence, achieved over 70 Gold and Platinum DVD/video sales, and produced in excess of 200 hours of programming. Loos began his career as a Development Executive, where he helped package, sell, and oversee 15 specials, 6 series, 3 pilots, and 2 movies.
He was named Screenwriter in Residence at the New Harmony Project (2008), selected for The Writers' Gathering: Jerusalem (2007), and honored as a Knight Fellow (2001) by Western Reserve Academy, his high school alma mater.
Loos proudly graduated from Northwestern University's Radio/TV/Film program in Evanston, IL, and considers himself a reasonably skilled tennis player.
