Biografi
Tiffany Yvonne Cox is an actor, director, writer, and producer based in Los Angeles. A proud first-generation Trinidadian, she grew up moving frequently as a USAF military brat. She earned her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Catawba College in Salisbury, North Carolina, and further honed her skills through internships at PCPA Theaterfest and The Milwaukee Repertory Theatre.
Her experience propelled her into the Chicago theatre scene and the broader regional theatre circuit. Her stage credits include performances with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Kansas City Repertory Theatre, South Coast Repertory Theatre, and numerous other venues across the U.S. This strong theatrical background paved the way for her TV and film career, featuring roles in Grey's Anatomy, Good Trouble, Dead to Me, among others. She currently recurs as Autumn Owens on Hulu's Reasonable Doubt, produced by Raamla Mohammed, Kerry Washington, and Larry Wilmore.
Alongside her acting career, Tiffany writes, directs, and produces. During the pandemic, she directed the film Star Vehicle, which premiered at the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival and won Best Writing at the 2023 Micheaux Film Festival. She is developing additional independent projects, including a feature film and a short, slated for 2024.
Offscreen, Tiffany is a passionate advocate for equity in hair and makeup departments on set. She also volunteers with CSH Speak Up!, coaching individuals who have experienced homelessness on how to share their stories to promote supportive housing advocacy from local communities to legislative levels.
