Biografi
Yasuko Nakada (Nakada Yasuko) was born on February 18, 1933, in Matsumoto City, Nagano. She enrolled in Matsumoto Kasei Girls School (now Matsumoto Misuzugaoka High School) in 1946. In 1951, she entered Takarazuka Music School, and the following year, she joined the Takarazuka Musical Team. Her stage name at that time was Shinobu Yukari, given by her parents. She left Takarazuka in 1954 and joined the Nichigeki Dancing Team. After leaving Nichigeki in 1955, she began appearing in dramas for NHK broadcasting. In 1956, she joined Toho movie studio and appeared as a honeymooner in Rodan.
In 1958, she met Masaichi Nagata, then president of Daiei Movie Corporation, at the Southeast Asia Movie Festival. Despite a 27-year age difference, they became involved, and she starred in many of Daiei's films. In 1964, she ended her relationship with Nagata, left Daiei, and retired from film acting.
In 1971, she returned to her hometown of Matsumoto City and took a job at the National Hospital. She married a doctor there and had a son, but due to issues with her in-laws, they divorced. Nakada retained custody of her son. In 1973, she opened a jazz dance studio in Nagano. In 1989, she relocated her dance studio to Atami City, Shizuoka, where it remains to this day.
