Biografi
Steve Gray is a screenwriter and award-winning producer who creates film and television content that encourages viewers to reconsider their perception of God. As the senior and founding pastor of World Revival Church of Kansas City, his mission is to present "a religion that works," offering audiences a chance for a modern-day divine encounter with the living God through comedic elements and real-life stories.
His comedy TV show, The Steve & Kathy Show (2006-2009), earned 65 Telly Awards and three regional Emmy Awards over its three seasons. This award-winning blend of late-night talk show and quirky SNL-style sketches was performed live before an audience, using creative humor to engage viewers while sharing powerful, hopeful messages.
Gray's feature film 3 Blind Saints (2011) combines comedy and slapstick as three bumbling individuals take on the roles of pastor and ministry workers as part of their court-ordered community service. The Dove Award-winning film stars Richard Speight Jr. and features Barry Corbin, Irma P. Hall, and the late Murray Gershenz.
His work also extends to children's programming with Kids Ablaze (2016), a half-hour show aimed at helping children understand that "God's got a plan for you." Additionally, Gray produces content for iRevival.tv, a subscription-based online television platform featuring programming from his church, Steve Gray Ministries, and other ministries worldwide.
Steve & Kathy (2017), his latest production, is a ministry talk show that blends real-life stories of healing and encounters with God alongside contemporary worship music, prayer, and Gray's preaching. The show airs in the U.S. on ISN and reaches audiences in the Middle East and Israel via Middle East Television (METV). Gray is currently developing his next feature film, Princes of Peace.
Beyond film and television, Steve Gray is an author, songwriter, and sought-after speaker. His published books include When the Kingdom Comes, Follow the Fire, Hope Heals, and My Absurd Religion - By Which I Make My Living.
Steve and his wife Kathy have been married for over 40 years, serving together in ministry and co-hosting both The Steve & Kathy Show and the current Steve & Kathy program. The couple has appeared on The 700 Club, Daystar Television Network, TBN, CTN, and have been featured in Charisma Magazine, Newsweek, Time magazine, and other international publications. They reside in Kansas City, Missouri, with their daughter and three grandchildren.
