Biografi
Lawrence Davis, originally from Baltimore, Maryland, burst onto the entertainment scene in July 2001 with great impact. After spending 11 years styling hair in his hometown, he sold everything, moved to California, and never looked back. Inspired by fashion magazines, television, and movies, he told himself, "I can do that," and made it a reality. Once he established himself as a freelance hairstylist in Hollywood, he was confident it would pay off.
Since 2002, working for E! Entertainment Television has opened many opportunities for him. His next ambition was to become a union hairstylist in Hollywood, which he achieved in 2005. Lawrence joined The Tyra Show in its first season and won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling for daytime television in the second season.
His success is rooted in positive thinking and strong networking. He has styled for numerous clients in movies, commercials, TV shows, ad campaigns, and editorials, including InStyle, Essence, Harper’s Bazaar, Self, and Newsweek, among others. Making people look beautiful brings Lawrence joy, and he truly loves what he does.
