Biografi
Danella Dutton was born on June 10 in Riverdale, Georgia. Her grandmother introduced her to the arts early on, starting with tap and ballet, and she spent a decade competing nationally in baton twirling. This experience helped her overcome shyness and gain confidence as a performer.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Danella was a competitive multi-sport athlete, participating in softball, basketball, cross country, and track & field. She competed at the state level throughout high school and qualified for the Junior Olympics in 2001. The discipline, focus, and leadership she developed through sports continue to influence her approach to performance.
After an injury altered her college plans, Danella rediscovered dance while attending Clayton State University. In 2003, she began salsa training in Atlanta, Georgia, quickly dedicating herself to the style and eventually leaving college to pursue dance professionally. By 2005, she was working as an independent instructor, specializing in salsa while also training in ballroom, hip-hop, and jazz funk. Her career expanded to include performances, choreography, and teaching in theater, film, music videos, and television.
In 2010, Danella moved to Los Angeles and broadened her focus to acting. She started with private lessons, then studied commercial acting, improvisation at The Groundlings, and committed to scene study in 2015.
Currently, Danella works as an actor, dancer, and director in Los Angeles, continuing to tell stories through movement and performance, while maintaining her dedication to the transformative power of the arts.
