Biografi
Moolchand was a successful Indian actor primarily known for his work in Hindi and Punjabi cinema. He appeared in over 250 films, making his debut in 1950. He frequently worked with acclaimed directors such as Guru Dutt and Raj Kapoor and shared the screen with notable actors like Dev Anand, B. R. Chopra, Dara Singh, and I. S. Johar. Early in his career, he took on minor roles, but after several attempts, he landed a significant part in the 1968 film Padosan, which highlighted his comedic talent. This comedic side was further showcased in the 1970 movie Yaadon Ki Baarat. Some of his well-known films include Teen Batti Char Raasta (1953), Chamber Di Kali (1960), Mama Ji (1964), Nanak Dukhiya Sab Sansar (1970), Yaadon Ki Baraat (1973), Loafer (1973), Dukh Bhanjan Tera Naam (1974), Patthar Aur Payal (1974), Salaakhen (1975), Chacha Bhatija (1977), Don (1978), Nalayak (1978), Khud-Daar (1982), Maati Maangey Khoon (1984), Goraa (1987), Zakhmi Aurat (1988), Mar Mitenge (1988), and Hum Intezaar Karenge (1989). Moolchand had a son named Naresh Kapoor, who has a daughter named Monica. He also had another son, Amrit Kapoor, and two daughters: Kamlesh Makhija, whose daughter is Snehaa, and Poonam Tandon.
