Biografi
Eliana Alexander was born in Mexico City. Her parents, Elias and Ana Rosa, created her unique name by combining the first halves of their own. Her father, an industrial engineer, worked for the US government, helping to build and improve towns throughout South and Central America. Eliana accompanied her parents on travels to countries including Paraguay, Guatemala, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. She mastered five Spanish dialects and became fluent in English. Inspired by classic films, Eliana developed a passion for performing. Though talented in many areas, she focused on singing, dancing, and acting. After relocating to Los Angeles in her early teens, she sang lead vocals in a band several nights a week while attending high school. Her extraordinary talent and four-octave vocal range soon led her to Japan, where she performed as a solo artist. Upon returning to LA, she auditioned for a musical that sparked all her passions. She pursued dance and acting simultaneously with a fierce determination to excel. Driven by her unwavering commitment to excellence, Eliana founded EDGE Performing Arts Center, Kids Dance LA, and LA Dance Force. Under her leadership, all three became internationally recognized for training elite dancers and choreographers. Although she has since left the dance industry, her influence continues to inspire people worldwide. Eliana’s captivating on-camera performances earned her an Alma Award, and her mesmerizing stage choreography contributed to Imagen Awards for both Paquito's Christmas and Veteranos. Throughout her life, Eliana has lived by the simple motto: "class and elegance." Whether performing as a triple threat on stage or applying her creative talents to composing, choreographing, directing, producing, or writing, it is her passion for the performing arts, along with the support of her husband John and her courage to pursue her dreams, that has fueled her success in all her endeavors.
