Biografi
Born on the UK coastline in Great Yarmouth, England, with his hometown being Lowestoft.
He trained at Stagecoach School of Performing Arts while attending The Grange school in his hometown of Aylesbury.
He began his film career playing Eddie in the short film Pure Vengeance alongside Scott Adkins.
He later appeared in BBC2's Masters of Combat as Master Kali's disciple.
He then landed his first feature film role as Max Ryan in Jesus The Curry King, alongside Pooja Shah. The film was produced by an Aylesbury film company and was among the first to be digitally screened across UK cinemas via Quantum Digital.
In 2004, Brendan had one of his early major breaks in The Purifiers, playing Moz alongside actors such as Kevin McKidd and Dominic Monaghan from Lord of the Rings and Lost.
Following The Purifiers, Brendan played Taz (Clifford), his first lead role in a full-length feature film titled Love Struck, alongside Joey Ansah from The Bourne Ultimatum. The film won several awards, including Best Film at the London Portobello Film Festival, marking one of Brendan’s proudest moments. Other credits from this period include Band of Brothers, The Avatar, Left For Dead, Starhyke, and fulfilling a lifelong dream by appearing in the Royal Variety Performance.
In 2006-2007, Carr portrayed firm member and boxer Jason in the British crime film Rise of the Foot Soldier, alongside Craig Fairbrass, Terry Stone, Billy Murray, Ian Virgo, and Rikki Harnett.
Immediately after filming Rise of the Foot Soldier, Brendan starred as lead actor Ryan in Ten Dead Men. The film featured British talent including Jason Mazza, Silvio Simac, Lee Latchford Evans, and Pooja Shah. Although Brendan played the lead, he spoke only one line, with his thoughts narrated by horror icon Doug Bradley (Hellraiser). The movie was released worldwide on DVD in 2008.
In 2010, Brendan played the lead villain and self-proclaimed Lord Tethryn in Warrioress, which was released in 2013.
Brendan also portrayed Russian prisoner Boris in Dragon Soccer and was reportedly cast in two feature films scheduled to shoot in 2013-2014, as well as a new sci-fi TV series called Safelight-19, which began filming in 2013. He starred in the pilot episode of Safelight-19 as Martin Black.
There are also rumors that he may play the lead in a series spin-off based on a well-known Xbox video game, though details remain undisclosed.
