Biografi
Craig Ayers has spent over 20 years in the entertainment industry, rapidly advancing at every stage. Before entering entertainment, he served three years as a Military Policeman in the Army. During his military service, he also collaborated with the Hawaiian Police Department through the Hawaiian Armed Services Police. He then transitioned to the casino industry, where he worked for 15 years as a dealer and supervisor in Lake Tahoe, NV, Nassau, Bahamas, and Las Vegas, NV, notably opening the renowned Mirage Poker Room.
While working in casinos, Ayers attended film school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His casino experience sharpened his ability to manage multiple personalities simultaneously. Always drawn to Hollywood, after 15 years in casinos, he moved there to pursue a film career. Like many, he began with the legendary Roger Corman, progressing from Production Assistant to 1st Assistant Director, then advancing to Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Line Producer, and Producer, collaborating with major studios and independent film companies.
Ayers’ background in Assistant Director and Production Management roles has provided him with invaluable on-set experience, enabling him to anticipate and prevent potential issues that could waste production funds, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to the screen.
He has produced, production managed, and line produced feature films, commercials, and music videos for major studios and independent companies both in the U.S. and internationally. His credits include the Oscar-nominated "Into the Wild," directed by Sean Penn (filmed over six months in Alaska and South Dakota), "127 Hours," starring James Franco and telling Aron Ralston’s extraordinary hiking survival story, "Winged Creatures," a drama featuring Kate Beckinsale, Guy Pearce, Dakota Fanning, and Oscar winner Forest Whitaker, and the Disney film "Tomorrowland," starring George Clooney.
In addition to working across the United States, Ayers has filmed projects in Romania, Brazil, and Puerto Rico.
When not involved in filmmaking, he lives in New Mexico with his wife and two daughters and enjoys golf—holding a 9 handicap—poker, and more golf.
