Biografi
Daz was born in Liverpool, England, and experienced a challenging childhood without the presence of his parents. Despite coming from a broken family, he transformed these early difficulties into a positive and successful career in sports. He joined the Royal Air Force, where he developed teamwork and sportsmanship skills. During his service, Crawford traveled extensively, including to the Falkland Islands, Germany, Italy, and the Desert Storm Campaign. He excelled in National League Basketball (UK) and ranked 10th globally as an amateur boxer. He was eventually invited to join the Seoul Olympic Team representing England.
After years of searching, Daz reunited with his father, beginning a personal and difficult journey. Sadly, his father passed away after only a few years together. Returning to London, Daz launched a modeling career. While working as an extra in a film, he discovered a passion for acting and participated in drama workshops that challenged his emotions and vulnerability, revealing a new side of himself. He studied at the Madder Market Theatre in Norwich, the Actors Centre in London, and the LA Actors Centre, focusing on the Meisner Technique.
Daz has appeared in numerous commercial campaigns, including Faberge, Excedrin, Ford, and Yop. He was cast as a UK Gladiator, "Diesel," on television, working with American Idol producer Ken Warwick. With his rising fame, Crawford landed a role in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough. His other credits include Thor, Hammer of the Gods, Attila the Hun, The Gray Man, a recurring role on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., guest appearances on NCIS, Covert Affairs, The Unit, and a major role in Wesley Snipes' Blade 2. He also ventured into motion capture, portraying Sony's God of War character Kratos and Disney's Jungle Book character Shere Khan. Continuing to work in the UK, Daz channels his energy into charity work supporting breast cancer causes and helping underprivileged children find direction through sports and theater arts.
Additionally, Daz has authored and published a series of children's books titled The Adventures of Oran & Tang, available worldwide.
