European actor Enrique Alcides was born in the Canary Islands and raised in the Sahara Desert and Cádiz, Andalucía, the land of his ancestors. From an early age, he embarked on a diverse journey of experiences. Throughout his career, he has honed his acting skills under the guidance of professionals such as John Malkovich, Susan Batson, Will Keen, John Strasberg, Tamzin Townsend, Owen Horsley, William Layton, and Arnold Taraborelli. Enrique has been a member of the European Film Academy for many years, following his recognition as a Shooting Star at the Berlinale Film Festival, an event hosted by Oscar winners Faye Dunaway and Istvan Szabo. He has played leading roles in numerous internationally acclaimed and award-winning films and has had the privilege of working alongside notable artists including John Malkovich, Peter Greenaway, Deborah Harry, Geraldine Chaplin, Barbara Brylska, Bob Wilson, Angela Molina (from Buñuel's *That Obscure Object of Desire*), Elena Anaya (*Van Helsing*, *The Skin That I Live In*), Ana Torrent (*Cría Cuervos*, Amenábar's *Tesis*, *Tulse Luper Suitcases*), Daniele Liotti (*Stones*), Eusebio Poncela (Almodóvar's *Law of Desire*), and Antonia San Juan (Almodóvar's *All About My Mother*). On stage, he has performed works by David Hare, Terry Johnson, Antonin Artaud, and Shakespeare, with his most recent appearance being in Dostoevsky's *The Great Inquisitor* under the direction of Boris Rottenstein.
