Biografi
Chris Ledesma has spent his entire life in Southern California. He began playing piano by ear at age 3 and started formal trumpet lessons in third grade. Early on, he decided to pursue a career in music and went on to study orchestral conducting at California Institute of the Arts and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. His initial experience with music editing came from working on a student film at CalArts, which inspired him to make music editing his profession.
In 1984, Chris's first entertainment industry job was as a Tour Guide at Universal Studios Hollywood. When not driving the tram, he had the chance to observe television scoring sessions for shows like "Murder, She Wrote," "Magnum P. I.," "Airwolf," and "Amazing Stories." This invaluable experience provided education beyond what any school could offer.
Chris's first role as a music editor began in 1986 at Segue Music, a leading music editing company, followed by stints at Music Design Group and Music Works. In 1992, he founded his own company, Click Track, Inc., and has since worked as music editor on numerous feature films including "Pure Country," "Robin Hood: Men in Tights," and "Blast from the Past," as well as Emmy-winning TV shows such as "Gypsy" starring Bette Midler, "War and Remembrance," and 20 episodes of the acclaimed "Hallmark Hall of Fame."
His greatest passion and career highlight is working on "The Simpsons." Now in its record-breaking 30th season, Chris has music-edited every one of its 700+ episodes.
He is fortunate to be married to Michelle, his wife of 39 years. Together, they have raised two wonderful daughters, and in 2010, Chris proudly became a grandfather.
