Until then, the Dallas native had made waves from two contrasting perspectives—behind the scenes in music and on-screen in television, film, and video games. As a songwriter, her credits include hits for Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Meghan Trainor, Ariana Grande, Janelle Monáe, Nicki Minaj, Prince Royce, and BTS, including multi-platinum tracks like Fifth Harmony's "BO$$," Chris Brown's "Anyway," and "Love Lies" by Khalid and Normani.
