Biografi
Lindsay graduated from The Central School of Speech and Drama in London, an institution whose alumni include Jennifer Saunders, Dawn French, and Laurence Olivier.
Born in Orsett, Lindsay grew up in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, where she attended St Bernard's High School for Girls, which counts Helen Mirren among its alumni. She is the youngest of three siblings, with a sister named Christina and a brother named Jamie.
Lindsay began ballet at age three, and by seven, she was playing a boy in Oliver! as well as other child roles in the production.
At twelve, she secured her first professional role at the Palace Theatre in Westcliff-on-Sea, performing in the ensemble and serving as the Cinderella double in a show starring Rebecca Thornhill. During this period, she also completed her L.A.M.D.A. examinations.
After finishing school, Lindsay took on comedic roles in plays touring the UK and participated in various festivals nationwide. This experience led her to join a Theatre in Education tour funded by the Southend Road Safety team under the local council. Following the conclusion of this tour, Lindsay co-founded a theatre company in Essex, producing and acting in another touring production.
Although offered admission to two drama schools, Lindsay declined both to study at Kingston University, where her acting and performing paused while she traveled globally and lived in Alicante, Spain, for five months, performing at the university there. During her final year at Kingston, Lindsay resumed performing outside class and began training in acrobatics and trapeze at The Circus Space in London, as well as taking acting classes at The Central School of Speech and Drama, where she eventually earned her Master's degree.
While at university, Lindsay performed in The Vagina Monologues for a V-Day event and participated in a 24-hour theatre marathon in 2006. In 2015, she produced and performed in the V-Day event in Hollywood, reprising her role in The Vagina Monologues. This production raised funds for Peace Over Violence, a nonprofit organization supporting women recovering from sexual and physical abuse.
