Biografi
Curtis Harrison has spent most of his life immersed in the entertainment industry. From his school years, he was deeply involved in theatre and television. After high school, he attended Niagara College for a semester, majoring in science, but soon realized it wasn't his path. Following a year of travel, he committed to a career in entertainment. During that year, he worked as a glazier in the Cayman Islands, installing glass and doing various construction jobs. While there, he discovered the Cayman Drama Society (CDS) but, due to his busy work schedule, chose to work backstage on a production rather than perform. After leaving the island, he traveled more—visiting Cuba, Vermont, New York, and across Canada to British Columbia—before settling in Toronto to pursue education and acting. He was accepted into acting programs at George Brown, Ryerson, York, and Humber. However, when offered a role in a five-month touring show, he followed his instincts and accepted the part. Curtis has remained in Toronto since then and has become an award-winning actor with numerous theatre and film credits. He has performed in many productions and contributed behind the scenes in just as many. His involvement with Chalmers and Dora Mavor Moore award-winning productions has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of successful theatre. Recently, Curtis returned from New York, where he worked with the Michael Group theatre company. As an actor, writer, and producer, he has engaged in every facet of production. His diverse experiences have given him valuable industry insight and confidence in his choices. Over the past few years, he has been writing, developing compelling Canadian content for a potential successful television series.
