Highlander: Sumbernya Kekeliruan

Kesalahan Karakter

Although the Guardian is easily faster than Joe's pick-up truck, he doesn't chase after Joe and Duncan.

Kontinuitas

The Elder says that immortals grow weaker and lose their immortality as they approach the Source. Yet when Duncan reaches it, he suddenly gains super-speed. This is even more inconsistent because the Guardian explicitly says the Source is filling him with energy.
Near the end of the film, when Duncan fights the Guardian, his wife Anna stands in the "Source," at the top of the stairs at one end of the pit. After the Guardian stabs Duncan, he stands between them, with Duncan and Anna at opposite ends of the pit. In a closeup of Duncan just before the Guardian starts a tornado by waving his sword, Anna is clearly visible at the top of the stairs behind him, even though she is supposed to be behind the Guardian.
Some of the immortals repeatedly say they are on holy ground and therefore cannot fight, but the Guardian openly kills one of them on holy ground with no consequence whatsoever.
Duncan talks about the women he has watched grow old and die, including Kate from Highlander: Endgame. Kate was immortal, so she could not have grown old and died.
At the monastery, Duncan and Joe break through the door with Joe's jeep. A few minutes later, when the Guardian arrives and Reggie goes out to fight him, the monastery door is undamaged.
The Source prevents immortals from sensing other immortals. Late in the movie, they say they can sense the Guardian, despite having been unable to sense him earlier at a geographic point farther from the Source.

Kesalahan Faktual

As shown late in the movie, Jupiter and Saturn are closer to Earth than Earth's moon. That would destroy the entire solar system through gravitational imbalance, let alone destroy Earth.

Aneka ragam

How could this world have descended into chaos in no more than a 5-year time difference between this movie and the previous one? Joe Dawson is the same age as he is in the Highlander TV series, so there is no way this takes place a long way into the future.
Why doesn't the security guard try to retrieve the body of the man he just shot over half a dozen times? And why doesn't he call the police?

Lubang Plot

Methos and Giovanni clearly know who the Guardian is while talking via their computers. But when they all go to speak to the Elder, they seem not to know who he is as the Elder tells the story of becoming the Guardian of the Source.
