Laura Meadows is an American actress known for bringing intelligence, intensity, and edge to roles that blur the line between warmth and danger. In 2025, Meadows stars as the lead villain "Grandma" in the Lionsgate/Grindhouse release The Salem Chronicles, scheduled for the 2025 Halloween season. She also appears as a Tree Witch in the Lionsgate feature Devilreaux, sharing the screen with legendary horror icon Tony Todd. Upcoming projects include Blood Before Bitcoin, in which she plays the leader of a retired gang, and Cowboy and Indian, where she portrays Debbi, an every woman romantic lead navigating a complex personal journey.
Meadows’ love of horror began in childhood, fostered by her mother’s encouragement of film and creativity. Early in her career, she worked as a scare actor at the premiere haunted house attraction for Gyro’s and Rob Zombie in San Jose, portraying "Mama Firefly" in the House of 1,000 Corpses exhibit. Her additional horror and indie film credits include The Devil’s Carnival, Amityville Vampire, The Legend of Black Annie, The Occultist, Terror Tunes, The Butcher, and others, earning her recognition within the genre community.
Beyond feature films, Meadows has appeared in numerous music videos. Her character Ms. Mais in the music video "Uno" has garnered over 58 million views. She has also worked with artists including Ashtar Command, Foo Fighters, Tia Verdes, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, and Toni Romiti.
A lifelong swimmer and cinephile, Meadows holds a BFA in Fine Art from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to focusing fully on acting, she was an award-winning visual artist, fashion designer, and textile innovator, with her work featured internationally and worn by figures such as Pia Lamberg and Kristy Swanson.
