Yuri Williams is an American humanitarian, nonprofit leader, actor, and real-life superhero known for his transformative impact across all 50 states through his charity, A Future Superhero and Friends. Born and raised in South Central Los Angeles, Yuri turned personal tragedy into purpose after losing his mother to cancer in 2009, founding the nonprofit in her honor to serve the most vulnerable members of society - including children with disabilities, the houseless, the elderly, veterans, and individuals battling life-threatening illnesses.
Since its inception, Yuri has helped over 20,000 people nationwide, delivering joy and essential resources through superhero-themed outreach - often dressed as Deadpool, Spider-Man, or The Mandalorian to lift the spirits of hospitalized children and underserved youth.
He is also the creator and author of the children's book My Dad Is a Real Superhero (Based on a True Story), inspired by his daughter Jaedyn and his own dual identity as both father and everyday hero. The book is now being distributed to Title I schools across the country to promote literacy and hope.
Yuri's efforts have earned widespread media recognition, including features on Good Morning America, CNN, NBC Nightly News, Fox Business, PBS, Access Hollywood, The Steve Harvey Show, and Parents Magazine. He also stars in and directs the heartwarming docuseries Hope for the Holidays, chronicling his multi-state mission of kindness during the holiday season.
Outside of his nonprofit work, Yuri has served over 30 years in juvenile and adult probation, using his platform to steer youth away from incarceration and into positive pathways.
